(So great was the extremity of his pain and anguish, that he did not only sigh but roar) --Matthew
We're all going to have to die someday.
Maybe we could thank God for each day as we rise, because we didn't have to be blessed with another day this beautiful gift we call life.
We "make our bed upon awakening", symbolizing that we must accept how we have founded ourselves as people created in the direction of our teachers, and then review what we'd like to do to better ourselves. And maybe we should try not to think about when our time is coming, because it could very well be right now! Man! We ought even try to live in the moment... because it's been speculated that there is only the "eternal moment of now".
We must let go of all guilt about any mistakes we've made in the past, for they have taught us who we are not.
We have a put together a well thought out plan to acquire all the things we need to have a productive and fulfilling life, always living it to the very best of our abilities; always moving toward the higher path.
We pass on our knowledge to our children so they can improve upon it.
Sometimes, as a last resort; repeated exposure to that which we fear most helps us to be courageous enough to accept and confront our own mortality.
If we were to die today, could we say that we've accomplished all that God; (or whatever the heck we're here for), has given us to do?
Seriously, have we made a difference in peoples lives?
Have we put education, integrity, responsibility, courage and hope in the minds and hearts of our Children?
And above all... Have we "cleared a path for our Lord?
Because honestly, He is coming.
